Viticulture on Canarias Islands

The vineyards on Canarias Islands do not enjoy world’s fame. It has nothing to do with the fact that the Canarias vineyards do not meet the high quality criteria but with the fact that the area of viticulture is not sufficient enough to provide the world’s markets with wine. The area of vineyards is just sufficient to meet the demand of the inhabitants of the islands and tourists.

However it is a secret that the wine market of Canarias Islands could have a bright future. The area of agricultural lands on Canarias Islands is mostly used for growing of tomatoes and bananas. What do you think: where do tomatoes come from in winter? Exactly, Gran Canaria and Tenerife are the most important lands of growing that plant, and mainly bananas are grown on Tenerife and in majority are sold to the continent to Spain.

Make it simple - just book a trip to Tenerife and spend great holidays.
